Most OTAs have solid coverage of widely-distributed scheduled content, and are actively working to deepen it with ancillaries, personalisation and post-booking automation. The differentiation is in exhaustivity: the flights that aren't on every platform. Charter allocations, tour operator seat blocks, unique airline capacity on routes that standard feeds don't reach. The most valuable content for an OTA isn't the flight every platform carries. It's the seat nobody else has, at the fare nobody else has.
CitizenPlane's inventory includes charter programs, tour operator seat blocks, and unique airline capacity on routes where supply is limited and demand is real. Much of it isn't replicated on competing platforms. When a high-demand event creates a surge - a sport final, a festival, peak summer routes - CitizenPlane's partner OTAs have access to seats their competitors don't.
Tour operator seat blocks add another layer. Unsold seats on scheduled routes, priced below standard fares, distributed as one-way segments : exactly the inventory OTAs need to compete on metasearch and build bundles.

One integration, one relationship
CitizenPlane connects via API and supports the major aggregators - Travelfusion, Peakwork, Paxport, Aerohub - so adding CitizenPlane content doesn't mean building a new pipeline. For an OTA already running air shopping through one of those aggregators, it's a new content source on an existing setup, with no upfront cost.
Post-booking works the same way. Schedule changes, refund requests, luggage queries: one team handles it, 24/7, regardless of which airline or operator sits behind the booking. At volume, the operational simplicity compounds quickly.
