The Farmers Market, right next to The Grove, in Hollywood has loads of small stores but this one falls under the category “how great is this!” Light My Fire (site under construction) sells only hot sauces. 1000 different ones to be exact.
The sauces are displayed in the order of hotness, ranging from “wimp” to “hottest f***king sauce on the planet”. There’s so many funny product labels that it’s almost worth to drop in just to read the labels.
I bought the “Hottest f***king wing sauce” out of curiosity and have to admit that it’s like I’ve never tried before. Truly agonizing! I dipped a toothpick in the sauce and dabbed my tongue with it… The heat is so intense that I honestly think there’s no way anyone can use this for cooking. Maybe for industrial solvent, but cooking, no.
Anyway, Staff is nice and will help you out with any questions you might have. Have a look at the pictures and see if you can make out the labels.
